Yet another Marvel G200+ XP question...

Hi everybody on the forum...

I've been away from this place for quite a while, because I got sick of all the tests (...and re-installs :-) ) I had to do trying to get my Marvel G200 working on W2K...

Now I'm back looking at this issue, and I meanwhile installed XP...

I see there is something new on this subject (Felipe/Nicram), but trying to gather all the info from older articles is an headache...

Just a simple question:

Did somebody get any success in using Marvel G200 and XP for capture/editing in MJPEG (Hard or Soft) and/or mpeg with external codecs?

If the answer is YES, then it'll be worth the headache to dig a bit further in the forum's archives...

But if there's no hope... please save me some hassles and tell me straight away...

Get your painkiller and prepare for headache, because the answer is YES! Though never as convenient as in the days of Win98, anything you mentioned is somewhat possible.
