  • What video related software have you purchased?

I was thinking about this recently since I think I'm finally going to purchase TMPGEnc. This hobby is starting to add up!

Here's my list of the video related programs I've purchased.

MediaStudio Pro 6.0 then upgrade to 6.5 (to edit video)
DVD Workshop (to author DVD's, also $100 pretty much wasted on the DVD Plug-In for MS Pro)
    AVI_IO (for analog capture)
PIC Video Codecs (for analog capture)
SoundForge 6.0 (for editing video soundtracks)
    WinDVD 4.0 (for playing DVD's I've created)

      4. Corel Photo-Paint 11 Upgrade

      6. Corel Ventura 10 Upgrade
      7. Adobe Acrobat 5.0 Upgrade

All of the above purchased within the past two months.

I'll be upgrading to ULEAD MediaStudio Pro 7.0 when it's available.

I also have a warning for those of you contemplating any Magix software purchases.

I ordered from this firm's Web site on November 9th using my credit card.

To date, my order has not shipped.

I am now in the processing of disputing the charge because Magix refuses to respond to my multiple inquiries via e-mail and telephone.

I do not recommend buying any audio or video products offered by Magix.
