I just re-installed my system with Windows 2000 (Service Pack 3).
I have installed the Matrox 5.86 Drivers for the Marvel G450 eTV video card, but when I try to install VideoTools 2.10a, it will not install.
The Microsoft Installer script starts, but then after choosing the language, all dialog boxes disappear. The vt_210a.exe process stays running (viewed through task manager) though nothing displays on the screen.
Before wiping everything out I had these drivers working with Windows98SE, Windows 2K, and WinXP. Now that I am starting from scratch, I seem to be having some difficulties.
This is a brand new install with absolutely no programs cluttering up the system. I have loaded all necessary drivers, IE6-SP1, Directx 9, and all security update fixes.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get VideoTools installed?
Thank You.
