desktop resolution 704x576 => better output?

Just wondering, if I would tweak my desktop output to be 704x576x50Hz (PAL), theoretically, the output quality of my MPG video cd's on the composite connector should become better?

No more scaling involved, every pixel would be transferred 1:1. Has anybody ever tried this?

You do not need this if you have dual head G400 and use DVDMAX mode.
For G200, I am not sure that such tweak will preserve the ability to output to TV.
Also, I suspect that TV output buffer of G200 is always 640 pixels in width, and filled by interpolated 800 or 1024 row of pixels...
