  • Sync Audio to Video

Hi, probably been asked a lot, but a quick search of the forum didnt help me, so:

When i capture with my g450eTV, audio and video get slightly out of sync. I read in a magazin that this is due to capturing the video on the eTV and the sound on the soundcard. so i need to know if there is a program out there to sync audio to video again, and if there is, how do i do it?

The real problem is that PC-VCR has never been very good at synching the frame rate to exactly what you set, which then throws the audio out of synch.

For capturing MPEG either VideoStudio or MSPro would probably give you better results. For using *.avi's with software codecs like PICVideo MJPeg AVI_IO would be best.

You need to use a program called freevcr: it will sync audio and video and segment the video into 2gb chunks with no frame loss at all. I have captured 2hour of video with no sync loss at all.
