  • sound and other rt.x100 questions

    Hi All,
I have disconnected the breakout box of the sb audigy 2 . I am using the rt breakout box hooked up to the line in on the back of the soundcard. I can capture analogue video and sound, but the sound has crackles at irregular intervals. It also fails to capture longer clips. I have also been unable to capture in m2v. I have the matrox sp 1 installed. Also the adobe codec takes 3 hours for a 2 hour dvd. Is that normal? Is that the best codec? The ligos is not installed. The matrox codec crashes. I have a new set up and I can't transfer videos yet. Another thing. They installed w2k sp 3. Should I reinstall with sp 2 instead? What is the problems with sp 3? Sorry for all the questions, but I need to get this beast working. Nunchal

What slots do you have the RT.X100 and the Audigy installed in, just curious.

I belive they may be sharing IRQ's which is causing this problem.

Also try only installing the bare minimum drivers for your soundcard.

    Regards,
    Elie
