Marvel G400 - suitable for 1,5V AGP slots?

A friend has built a new system on a Nvidia2 board, and wants a cheap capture system for a few months, before he upgrades to ATI AIW9700.

I was thinking about lending him my Marvel G400, but his board has clear warnings about 1,5V AGP cards only.

Don't want to blow up his board so can anyone please confirm the Marvel G400 will work on 1,5V slots?
