Anyone have any better reason than this to upgrade from MP 7.1?

Not really.

If MSP 6.5 didn't slip MP 7 in on me without warning, I'd still be using MP6.4 and ignoring anything it couldn't download a codec to play.
(other than QT and RM I'm real unhappy with the latest Real Media player!)
