Hi everyone,
Seeing that I just got a DVD burner I started back into the video stuff. So I grabbed the copy of Pinnacle Express that I picked up a while back and started to play. It was not a fun experience. As I can tell so far, it's crap. The SVCDs I've created with it don't play on anything (tried WinDVD, Power DVD and stand alone DVD). On the other hand Nero pumped one out in a matter of minutes (simple but effective). I wasted a few CD-Rs and a bunch of time messing around with the Pinnacle software, which I will now dump in the trash.
I still have some other software I still need to try (B's DVD and Premiere 6.5 when it arrives). But so far I am disgusted with the Pinnacle software. I suggest avoiding it.
Oh well back to playing...
Jeff
