  • Viva (Las) Vegas Video 2.0?

Hi, has anyone heard of/used/seen reviews for Sonic Foundry's Vegas Video 2.0? It looks amazing to me, but I'd like get a pro's opinion on it. Does it give something like Premiere a run for it's money? Check it out at:

Just my wild musings, but I think that Vegas Video might creep up on everyone eventually. They've positioned it a cut above Premiere and MSP, based on the pricing, and the thing is very feature-laden. The original release of the free trial a few months ago, followed up by an offer from Sonic Foundry to buy the final release at a reduced price was VERY tempting. I opted not to, however, only because I've yet to use all the various features of MSP, and I'm not really using any fancy effects in my modest little home videos. The other thing about Vegas, to me, was that the UI was bit confusing and cryptic, meaning that it would be a stiff learning curve to get up and running with it.

I think that Doc also tried it for a short time and then uninstalled it because something from it was hanging MSP on him.
