anyone know a playout audio sync modifier

I wonder if there's such an app or plug-in, which lets you adjust audio-sync more or less on the fly if during playback you notice bad lip-sync. It would be useful if, for example, you want to watch a recorded TV-show only once and delete the file afterwards. If the audio is, let's say, 10 frames behind, just type "audio + 10 frames" et voila, for just that playback session the audio is in sync again.

If it's mpeg you're talking about, simply de-mux and re-mux using BBMpeg. You can specify the number of milliseconds delay that the video and audio streams get.

No, it's not specifically MPEG. It's more like a plugin for (for example Win Media Player) which lets you adjust audio and/or video synchronisation on the fly, during playback and only for that one occasion. Say, I captured a TV-show and I want to watch it, but it turns to be half a second out of sync. Then I would like to aplly a specific amount of audio delay or advance, either in the audio or the video signal. Since I want to watch the show only once and then delete the file, I wouldn't want to wait to have it processed by bbMPEG, Vdub or whatever.
Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe my SoundBlaster Live! card can do this. Pause playback, mute the original audio, define audio delay parameters and resume playback outputting only the delayed audio signal...
Next time I'm confronted with such an occasion, I'll give it a try.
