MS Pro frame server is a winner!

I finally got tired of rendering my non-dv format projects to large huffyuv files for encoding in TMPGENc and downloaded the MS Pro frame server from videotools.net

I had been holding off, expecting a cumbersome interface and buggy operation.

My fears were completely unfounded. I installed the frameserver an began compressing a project in about 2 minutes. I kid you not.

This thing works really well. I'm so impressed I already made the payment.

If you've been on the fence regarding this one, don't wait any longer.

I totally agree. It adds so much flexibility in terms of using external encoders it's rediculous.

And let's not forget that there is also a version for Premiere users that works just as easily with equivalent results.

Even given the 3 embedded MPEG encoders that came with my RT.X100 (realtime, Main Concept and Ligos) I still end up using TMPGEnc from VideoServer for those little extras it can do.
