DVD-R(W)/+R(W)/-RAM burner

It might be old news to some, but I just came across this: http://www.cdfreaks.com/news2.php3?ID=6739

I was thinking about buying the Sony DRU-500AX when they are in stock. But the LG GMA-4040B does all that plus DVD-RAM. It sure would be nice to keep the DVD-RAM option open as well, although I don't think it is used much over here.

I got its predecessor LG GMA-4020B, very nice drive (although 2x DVD-R), works great! Burned 20+ DVD-R media at 2x (Ritek, Tayio Yuden, Prodisc), all worked perfectly at standalones.. and DVD-RAM is great for backup.
