MSP 7.0 File reading Error

I am just trying MSP 7.0 Trial.
I cut two PICVideo 704x576 PAL clips and added a Cool3D Studio intro .avi.
Everything went ok until I restarted my computer and restarted the project file .dvp.
MSP 7.0 displayed “File reading error” and the code: [20379:1:30] and my entire 7.0 project is gone.
I don’t remember but I recall that the Cool3d file was edited in MSP 6.5 and I inserted to the main MSP 7.0 timeline.

I am a little bit disappointed, because it lays a 4-5 hours job behind my project.
Otherwise the MSP 7.0 is a very nice piece. Now I can scrub directly to the TV, which is not possible in MSP 6.5 and the Marvel G400.
The Title is great in 7.0.

Anybody has an idea what this error comes from?
Is there a way to hack the msp.ini file, or other settings?

Hi Fred H,

I'm having the same prob with msp7.0, have you found the fix? Can we still recover the file that's showing "File reading error"? I've been workin' on a project and it took me 2days editing then this error appeared. What a waste of time.

Hi Gef,
it is history now. It was a fault of mine and I can't remember what. It was so long time ago
Than I couldn't recover my project, but MSP7 works fine now.
In the mean time I tested different editing prgrams, including the Ulead Video Studio 8.0 but after every test I return to MSP7. I love it and I have no broblems anymore.
