  • Decent cheap dvd authoring program?

    Hi all,

I'm getting a new DVD burner shortly but it comes with very little software (Pinnacle Studio and Nero).

Is there an affordable authoring program around that accepts tMpeg-encoded files as they are without re-encoding video or audio? Converting MP2 into LPCM sucks.

Any experiences with this software? Like I said, I definitely want it to accept & burn tMpeg files without any re-encoding!

Something really stripped down but accepts tMpeg files

unfortunatley it seems that development has died.......

          Flying Dutchman,

          I recommend DVDMF to you.

          This is not a problem.

OK, I'll D/L the trial as soon as the burner arrives.

I used MF before moving to DVDWK. It did accept my TMPGENc encoded files without re-encoding.

The layout options and other things were too restrictive for me. If you just want to get your media onto a DVD using the best compressor around then it'll do the job for you.
