On the Ulead website there is talk of upgrading to MSP7 from MSP7 VE and MSP7 VE DVD. Are these the same as the old MSP6.5 Director's Cut? Where could I buy one of these as I don't think I need the full product.

So what are the MSP7 VE and MSP7 VE DVD then?
I originally started a thread way back about getting ADS Pyro ProDVD (MSP6.5DC+DVDWS SE+1394 card) but Dr Mordrid said wait for MSP7. It was then priced £149 but is now £99.
Having trialled MSP7 and DVDWS I am almost sure that I could get by with the ADS Pyro ProDVD but am waiting a bit longer to see if ADS will be bundling an MSP7 equivalent. Hence my "is there an MSP7DC?" question.
£149 was OK (even better at £99) but I am not sure I could afford £250 for MSP7 (I have no other Ulead package to qualify for an upgrade). On top of the £250 I would have to buy DVDWS as well! I tried the MF2 and VS6, VS7 DVD authoring packages/sections and found them too limiting.
I am only wanting to do "simple" stuff, convert Hi-8 of my kids onto DVD+R (got the burner).
Any suggestions?Comment

VE usually refers to the cut down versions that are bundled with various capture cards and systems. You can not buy these versions as stand alone packages.
