M400TV - no output to tape w. MSP 6

Hi,

the new feature "output timeline" in Uleads MSP 6 would be a nice thing - if you are planning an output to tape without having the need of creating a new output file (as in MSP 5.x)
Unfortunately I am not able to get a signal out of the TV / Y/C - output using this feature of MSP 6!
Does somebody have an idea?

My system: Athlon 700 on EpoX board, MM G400 TV AGP, 128 MB RAM, Win 98 SE

First go into the Marvels PC-VCR program and select "output to TV" in the setups. Also check off "smartrender" in the MSPro6 project settings.

Another handy thing to do is to go into the display drivers Settings/Advanced page and set up DualHead to DVDMax. Also check off the DVDMax checkbox near the lower 1/3 of the page.

DVDMax allows almost all video files to be played back to the TV-out, not just MJPegs. This includes MPEG 1, 2 & 4, Cinepak, Indeo, DivX, etc. etc. Handy....

Also ensure that "quickplay" has not been selected under the preview setting tab
