I'm using AVISynth with Virtual Dub to read a DV Type 1 file but VirtualDub reports the source file size as 360 x 288 instead of 720 x 576.
I believe this is a DirectShow problem as Windows Media Player 6.4 also thinks my DV files are this size.
Does anybody know of any fixes for this problem. If I go ahead and get VirtualDub to resize the file to 480 x 576 will it be reducing the size as I want it to or will it be expanding the smaller, incorrect size to achieve the size I want.
I've heard that MP7 doesn't have this problem but doesn't play back as well as 6.4
Thanks.
