            Hi adis,

I'm still plugging away with my G200 TV. Which drivers and video tool version do I need to go to win2k, the final releases? And then I just install the XP Update, right?

            Ta.

                      several problems with capture utility

                      Hello,

I tried your tools with the g-400tv along with the other drivers you indicated. Had some problems:

Unless its the first capture since reboot I may get a wierd capture, like the image all cut up in pieces, but thi sis least important.

When I capture it only actually records for about 10 minutes and then even though it says recording its not recording anything and ends up with a blank file.

Also I am unable to use other capture devices, like Virtuadub.

                      Im on a pentium 2.4..

                      any suggestions?

                        Paola

I maked VT 2.04.015c (and also a and b) for Marvel G400-TV. I never tested it with G200.

I maked XP Update for VT 2.10.010a, not for 2.04.015a.
I think this VT version works with G200 and RRG also.

Blank file after 10min - That's why Matrox stopped support.
It's very hard (maybe impossible) to make stable drivers.
I'm hope so my next VT version will be more stable for hardware MJPEG.

If this was a problem with drivers - I'm sure more people would have already mentioned it.
VT 2.04.015c is downloaded over 140 times in 7 days. People was e-mailed me to say Thanx, great work...
I'm sure you have problems with other software/hardware.

                            Same Problem

I'm having similar problems to Paola (blank video) only on a Marvel G400. I did figure something out tho. I change video sources from TV tuner (what I use) to something else then back to TV Tuner and the Picture shows up, but the video is up in the top right corner OF THE DESKTOP, is stretched wierd and doesn't move with the video window. The rest of the screen is Marvel's green transparency color. I can only see it by moving the video window over where it is located.

                              I figured it out!

I turn multi-display on, and the problem occors. It is somehow related to screen coordinates when multi-display is enabled. If its written in C, have you put code in to get the screen the video window is in on Multiple Displays and use coordinates only on that display? Thats my best guess, any way. If you're hex-editing all this, good luck.

                              BTW
DVD Max seems to be working with video files but not PC-VCR.
