Plasma TV + Matrox G4xx help needed

Currently I am running a G400 to a Panasonic ED plasma (852x480) on the primary head via RGB HD15 connection. I can get (via Powerstrip and/or Matrox Powerdesk/MTSU) the following resolutions to work with default timings: 848x480, 852x480, and 856x480. Picture quality is decent but nearly as good as I was expecting (no where near as good as my CRT's or LCD).

I am hoping to find tweaks to improve the PQ.

So, can anyone share what timings/resolutions/drivers they use with Matrox cards with their TV's (plamsa, rear projection, and/or projectors)?
