      What's with all the "comedies"?

I used to like The Avengers when Emma Peel was one of the characters. Ooooo, that black leather! Then for something really bizarre, there was The Prisoner. Strange, strange, show...

I am watching the TV and it's worthless.
If I switch it on it is even worse.

Geez Michka, I hope that wasn't a comment directed towards Diana Rigg!

Seriously, no, that is the title of another TV show.

I think Diana Rigg is the only subject that the Doc and I have ever agreed on!

                    Hoo-Ha!
                    Yup!
                    Diana Rigg!

...and don't forget the precursor to "The Prisoner", called "Secret Agent Man". ...and the tag line from the Prisoner: "I am not a number! I am a FREE MAN!"

Poor Mr. Bean. No one has mentioned him.

We Americans are also quite infatuated with the Wallace & Gromitt series.

As for Emma Peel, I am one of the few who actually likes the Avengers remake with Jaques Fiennes and Uma Oooooohhhh Maaaahhh Thurman (and who was that other Britt guy.... oh yeah, the James Bond guy... the one who played the Dragon's voice..., you know - Sean Connery)

I saw the 3 Wallace and Grommet Oscar-winning films a few days ago plus a how-they-were-made short. The first one had a poorer story line, I thought, than the other two but all three were good. The technical side was impressive.

I also forgot one of my favourite series, The Last of the Summer Wine. The earlier ones with the guy who was a soldier in the Malaysian jungle were, I thought, slightly better than the ones with the ex-cop. I know someone who is Auntie Wainwright to the T! I have some Yorkshire neighbours who say they can't stand it, because they used to employ people who were as gormless as those depicted, so it isn't funny for them.

                            What about Dad's Army?!?
And yes - red dwarf cannot be forgotten here!
And I find it hard to miss an episode of EastEnders!
