  • G400/RRG mjpeg capture with XP. Winnah!

Thankyou Nicram. It works a treat. My "B-rig" has been limping along with Win98 and I SO wanted to go XP with it and the only thing holding me back was the thought that my Matrox gear wouldnt work properly. I had read a little about Nicrams drivers but was a little too chicken to go for it. This weekend I did, and it works a treat. Record button, MJPEG, the whole enchilada.
I have only tried recording a few short clips so far so there may still be some issues but its looking good so far.
The only thing that does not work is my Turtle Beach sound card controls: for some reason I no longer have any record level meters as I used to with 98.
So thanks again Nicram. You da man!
This rather begs the question: if one highly skilled, motivated, and intelligent guy (or girl, I dont know) can make this thing work, how come a whole team of engineers at Matrox couldn't?
    They owe you.

Yeah, I noticed the same issue with the TBSC control panel and Win2k/xp awhile back. Big PITA. Someone posted a link to a download page for a seperate vu meter software then. Have to do a little searching.

Matrox can make this but it's not enough stable.
Try to use NetMeeting, Messenger, MovieMaker, Vegas Video,...
There is a long list of programs which can't work with Marvel G400-TV on WinXP.

NICRAM was maked update for VT 2.10.010a.
As I can see you are using VT 2.04.015c which is released by me.
Check it in installation exe properties or Add/Remove Programs VT Support Info.
