"Matrox VFW Software Codec Setup" HELP!!!!!!

I am trying to find out info on installing this software. It is supposed to be compression software to compress avi. I tried to install it on NT Workstation and it comes up with C:\winnt\system\regsvr32.exe /s c:\winnt\system\swcmpeg.dll swcdv.dll failed!

Please if anyone has come accross this before please reply or if you have any thoughts at all on it
