I ran up against the brick wall of "we don't support..." over at Matrox, so I thought I'd try here. Here's the Matrox Forum thread:
I have a Productiva G100 Quad w. TV tuner (G+/QUADP/N, Philips Tuner). I run Win2k Pro (SP2). I have downloaded from Matrox the 5.82.18.0 driver and Video Tools vt210a. All monitors work great, TV tuner works great. Video tools has no record feature. When I read the G100 MMS User Guide (10627-301-0130) it talks about recording video from TV or Line inputs. Is there a toolbox for vt210a that allows record? If not, what VidTools is the User Guide talking about, and can I get them and the correct driver. Any help greatly appreciated! Thanks. - Guy

I have tried the VideoTools 2.04.015d on top of the 5.82.018 driver; no good. I will try the 5.88.061 driver and let you know. Thanks! - Guy

The 5.88.061 driver doesn't recognize the G100MMS. The installation task shows 4 "Unsupported Matrox Device"s. Now where do I go?

The vidtools for the G100MMS are only supported and available for WIN98 and WINNT.
For the other OS we only have drivers support for this card.

so here I am. Anybody know how I can get Video Tools 210a recording from the G100's V tuner? Or alternately anybody have a Video Tools that runs on top of a Win2k driver that recognizes the G100?
