Actually I was a little disappointed by the movie. I am a big Hulk fan and I thought the movie lacked direction. It needed a more focused theme. Perhaps the main plot line should have been a struggle against a better villian, a secondary plot involving the army, General Ross, and Betty, and a third thread involving his father in more of a dream sequence here and there, to be revealed more fully in the sequal.

It did get to be too much of a drama for my taste. The story tries to push the "tortured soul" theme a little too far.
All in all, I thought the movie was decent enough for a solid 3 out of 5. Despite criticism resulting from a pirated version, I think that the animation is impressive.
If the story was focused more, 20 minutes shorter, and more of the green guy, it would have been bigger. Still, I'll buy it when it comes out on DVD.
