i experienced picture freeze too with VT 3.00 (still frame)
while sound go on.
I will try 2K/XP VideoTools Cleaner and let you know.
Edited After the Cleaner:
The freezing problem afflicts only "old" avis captured with
previous VideoTools (2.10a) version or under Win 98
(Mediaplayer9 or VideoTools player).
No freeze playing same files in Mediastudio Videoeditor Player
Rarely black screen capture .
