Hypertheading and Matrox Video
Hi,
I am putting my Matrox Marvel G400 in a new Motherboard ASUS P4P800 Deluxe with a 2.4c and the MotherBoard and Processor are both 800 FSB with HyperThreading. I stumbled on information that that Matrox G450 series, and maybe others need a patch to use some of the features. I went to the Matrox forums and asked if the Matrox Marvel G400 needs the patch too, if so email it to me. I could not get a straight answers. But that's what you do if yo need it (see the threads there about this subject and the patch, a *.DLL file) Anyone else know if some of the features like the PCR/VCR feature and/or others and which cards need the patch?
I wil soon find out as install this computer in a few days. I will be taking the video card out later ( a few weeks) and move it to a second computer, as I wil need a much newer and faster video card. But that's another subject for later.
