no sound to tv?

hi please help when i play back using dvdmax
the picture on the monitor is perfect same on the tv. sound from pc speakers is fine .but nothing from tv .any help please..
i use svideo and two composite leads for the sound but carnt get a thing ..thanks

It would help to know more details... Especially how you connect the sound from your soundcard to the TV, and how to the PC speakers. Do you have two line outs on your sound card? Or are you switching the lineout from PC speakers to the TV?

yes g400-tv with connector box svideo out
to svideo in on the front of my tv for the picture.composite leads out to coposite leads in on the front of tv..
marvel conector box has two leads on it going to line in on sound card one going to line out. these are connected correct.the sound is fine on the pc speakers but carnt make the sound go to the line out composite leads.thanks .any more info needed i will post ,,thanks again b-a-n-j-o

The connector marked as "Audio Out" should be connected to the soundcard "Line-in", and "Audio In" should be connected to the soundcard "Line-Out".

You may have to start PC-VCR to get the audio go through the Break Out Box (which is not supposed to be called "BOB" )

If the above has been checked and you still don't get any audio out to TV, you should be looking at the soundcard controls, make sure that you haven't muted (or set too low) any audio lines anywhere.

You can also bypass BOB and take the sound out directly from your soundcard.

Sorry, I have an RR-G and no breakout box. I do no tknow how the breakout box should be connected, although that is the area where the problem seems to be.
