  • P750 triple head question

Finally, P750's are available here. Expensive tho...

Anyway, I'd like to set up a dual TFT display plus Svideo out control monitoring.

Now, from the press I gathered this was possible, but I can't get a clear answer from the info at the website. Pictures do not show Svideo out...

So could someone here please tell me: can I have 2 DVI outputs (digital, not analog VGA!) plus Svideo, and how does it work?

    TIA

No. One of the TFTs would have to be driven from the analogue signal. It's a pretty damn good signal though so hopefully that won't put you off entirely. You see for this setup you need to put the "Y" cable on output 2, and then the TV-out cable on one of the outputs from the "Y" cable.

    Hope this is clear!

      Thanks for the info.

This puts me into a difficult spot tho. My TFTs have analog in, but these are taken by other PCs. I really need cards that will drive them digitally...

Guess I'll get a Radeon 9200 with Svideo out, and a PCI card with DVI out... might even be cheaper! Tho I'll lose a PCI slot...

Ok, I double checked. Yup gnep your right.

However another option would be to install an RTx10 which will give you TV out capabilities with an added bonus of hardware video capture and output.

At which point you could probably get away with a dual dvi G550
