Ulead MF2 question

In the Preferences menu, there's an item "Apply Antiflicker filter"

Does this selection have effect on the video, or just the menu?

The menu... as far as I know.

If your video flickers, then it's likely due to a FIELD ORDER issue.

I have flicker in video, but it can't be field order issues. The video is 352x240 MPEG1.

Never had flicker problems in VCD, but now that I make them into DVD, it flickers like hell.

The flicker isn't abnormal - it's on fine details, where flicker would be normal. Just that with vcd, these 'fine' details would be fuzzy, and no flicker.

No re-encode of MPEG1 btw, just dropped them into MF2 and tagged "don't re-encode DVD compliant files"
