Other than this, I know what you mean. AMD doesn't have this...professional feel to it. I think it's even more visible here than at your place.
Well whenever I call upon Intel support, they're always there to help me out. Whenever I have a failing CPU (god knows it doesn't happen very often) and I try to explain my problem the guy on the phone would just something like "I don't care, just give me the serial written on the box and I'll send a new one along. Just return your unworking CPU within the box we ship the replacement unit with." That's it, now question asked support. That's why I like Intel
