DV timeline playback problem
While playing from timeline to dv, everything works fine for about 10 seconds then the hard drive starts working hard (crunching) and motion and audio speeds up, slows down and gets jerky. I've checked virtual memory settings and they are:
specify my own, min 250, max 300.
System,
PIII 800
P3B-F mobo
196 mem
9 gig scsi, 20 gig IBM for capture w/ultra 66 cont.
9 gig scsi for boot
Just upgraded to new mobo (after reading very informative posts on this board)and PIII from PII 350. With that system playback worked well except for little burps once in awhile. Not like what I'ts doing now.
What am I missing???????
