G400DH and dvd under 2kpro?

does anyone here have any good workarounds for playing dvd under win2k? it seems that matrox will never get an official software release out for that card, so what is everyone doing for dvd under 2k with the g400? is there any solution out there...?

'get' either a Cinemaster 2000 version, or a WinDVD version. Cinemaster does better de-inerlacing, but doesn't handle the AC3 decoding properly (well, the problem is it can't decode a AC3 stream other than from a .vob file as on a DVD).

is it possible to install both simultaneously without any driver conflicts or other problems...?

they probably won't work at the same time... I tried, and Cinemaster went mad....

why would you want to install both anyway? you can try them after another

yeah, was just wondering... i can't seem to find a copy of cinemaster 2000. i found a link for the full package (23Mb) and the player (under 1Mb) but all are broken links..
