I'm in a PAL region, but I have many NTSC DVD titles. When I set output mode to PAL, I get a stuttering effect because of the frame-rate differnces, so I use NTSC instead. My TV set supports NTSC, but in PAL mode it has _much better_ image quality. In NTSC, there's quite heavy dot crawl (edge flickering), and setting the 'Reduce edge flickering' in DualHead options still leaves most of the dot crawl there. Is it normal for NTSC to have that low quality? I mean, is this effect present on native NTSC sets? Or maybe my set has poor NTSC handling? Anybody managed to get dot crawl-free picture in NTSC mode on a PAL TV set?
