Don't get too enthusiastic yet. The key sentence is:
"Ulead is evaluating 64-bit port technology as the platform promises to offer significant advances in video production performance."

This says "is evaluating", not "has evaluated". The results of this evaluation cannot be known for some time to come. Personally, I think the categorical tone of the first paragraph is a mistake, especially as MSP7 has not been specifically written for 64 bit CPUs.

It is possible that they are considering 64bit for Mediastudio Pro 8...

Considering is better than sitting on their hands and not considering at all.

Considering is good, supporting is better, but showing test results that deliver performance in proportion (or higher!) to price would be best!
