monochrome only

When attempting to videotape my finished production using Avid cinema I only achieve
monochome pictures. Benchmark bars are OK colour and no problems noted. Playing out media player into TV same problem. Colour is OK displaying computer screen on TV. Any solutions please. Chriscal

Thank you Dr Mordrid for your reply to my 'monochrome only' plea for help. Here is further information. I have tried getting colour video out from my camcorder, from AV1 files and from Avid CMA Movie files. I have attempted this using Matrox Capture, Avid Finish Movie, straight from the edit timelines and from Windows Media Player and each time all I can achieve is a monochrome picture trying both S Video and composite signals. The only colour I can get on the television screen from the computer is by ticking the Output to TV facility in Matrox Settings. Coming straight from the camera the capture frame content is in colour but when switched to' File' using an AVI clip the television screen is switches to a full screen B/W image. Avid System checks out that all is Okay as does Matrox Benchmark. I have transferred videos in the past with this system without this problem which has occurred unexpectedly.
