Is anybody _really_ sure that Matrox is working on Win2K drivers for the RT2000?
The RT2000 has been out for almost a year right?
At this rate Matrox must have allocated the equivalent of a bathroom break per day of one guy to Win2K.
Sorry, that last comment is out of frustration from waiting...

Yes, they are.
Yes, it has.
Actually that time has been spent;
1. Finishing the original driver beta through several service pack releases.
2. Working on addons (Inscriber, DVDit updates etc.) which added a LOT of functionality.
3. LOTS of time was spent on the VERY complex 2.0 MEGAPACK, which was just released. That baby took a lot of time and effort.
4. Many other multimedia vendors are waiting for SP-2 of Windows2000 to make sure it's worth developing for. The original build was actually a public beta and SP-1 did not solve all the multimedia problems.
5. Given #3 just completing, guess what the timetable is for the Win2K beta? Hmmmm....??
As far as how long it takes: do you want it fast or right? We betas worked our buns off getting these updates out, especially the 2.0 MEGAPACK....

Thanks for the response Dr. M.
Are there features in slated in Win2K's SP2 that are needed in order for the RT2000 to work?
I hope all these improvements which have been rolled out for the Win9x/Me version make it into the Win2K version.
Any chance that Matrox is waiting on Adobe Premier 6.0 to ship before the Win2K driver ships (and that Matrox will ship 6 w/ the RT2000) ?? That might provide a little bit of consolation...
