  • My absense of late....

    I appologize for my absense of late.

    This has been due to a personal illness (allergies, asthma and my carpal tunnels acting up). The allergy meds I'm on blurred my vision to where reading the monitor was difficult and the carpal tunnel acting up makes it hard to type. Not helping of late is a family illness; my father-in-law is very ill.

    I'm now OK as regards my ills since a recent frost cleared up my allergy/asthma issues (off the meds) and my wrists are mending after a few weeks in braces, but we are still spending a lot of time running back & forth to the hospital to visit my father-in-law. He's having surgery sometime this week so things should hopefully stabilize on that front.

    That said I am trying to monitor the foum posts every couple of days and will post if necessary.

    Now to make you jealous....this is where I spent time recovering;

                  Don't "recover" to fast, I hear fishing can lead to slow recoveries

                      Carpal tunnel outbreaks and fishing don't really go together, so that's out.

                      Too many trees for stargazing and I can't pull my 100 lb/draw bow to go bow hunting for deer, but firearms deer starts Nov. 15th and I have my .50 cal. Hawken & Ruger .44 Magnum carbine all ready to go

                              Hope you recover, but I'm not sure whether to say soon or not with a place like that to get better in!
