no audio on premiere timelime with 2500

Suddenly in the last week, using the Matrox 2500, my audio cannot be heard on the timeline in Premeiere, however can still be played/heard anywhere else in the project. I have reinstalled Premeir fully yesterday, the audio came back for brief period, then shut down on me. when I re-started, no audio again.

I did have an error message indicating " Matrox DV/Mpeg Codec driver is preventing machine from entering standby.

Should I reinstalling all my matrox softward as well as Premire ??
