  • Matrox DVD Player flakey...or not?

    Gang,

Just picked up T2 Judgement Day on DVD. On the "b" side (with all the cool non-movie stuff) I can't seem to navigate very well.
If I'm in, for example, the script, clicking the right button will either just loop me through 2 or 3 screens, or dump me back to the previous menu. The "chapter" button will get me into a script section, but from there on, it's loop-city - so I can only look at every other section. (Hitting a back-chapter button does nothing...?)
Any ideas, hints, or voodoo spells appreciated!

On some newer dvd's there are some problems with the cinemaster engine v1.29 which is supplied through Matrox. You might have do upgrade your decoding engine in order to get this right - it fixed my problems with The Matrix!

I have read that Matrox is negotiating with Ravisent about providing the new Cinemaster 2000 at a reduced cost to users of the supplied dvd-player, but so far nothing has been decided.

You might want to check out this site for a newer decoding engine www.7thzone.com
