I made something dumb…
I tried a capture driver from Pinnacle (amcap.exe) and now AVI_IO searches after a nonexistent capture driver. The first line is blanc.
At the same times MSP7 Video Capture can’t find the right MJPEG analog capture driver (Matrox PC_VCR 2.04.15)
The priority is set to a nonexistent capture driver.
I uninstalled and reinstalled the Matrox Video Tools 2.04.15 with no avail.
I could re-ghost my system but, is there any other way to repair it?
Edited:
The same happened for a while ago. I installed VegasVideo 4.0 and tried to capture analog video. I tried to find the VFW drivers to set in VV, but no way. VV tries to capture from the Firewire card. After this try I found that it blanke out the FIRST line in the AVI_IO Capture Device Menu. It couldn’t be deleted. It seemed to be a nonexistent/noname device. The same happend with the MSP 7 Video Capture automatically installs an improper capture driver as default and there is no way I know to delete/uninstall/kill/kick out/or shoot it down. I am unable to capture MJPEG with the MSP7
Is there a REG-Hack to murder this unwanted/unknown/fictive device?
