Tried to setup the sound and capture driver in MS Messenger. When I clicked to setup Matrox Video Capture Driver I get the red error warning Capture: A valid frame rate for PAL 0r SECAM video is frame 1 to 25. If I continue than Win XP stops running the Messenger with the classic XP error message. There is no time to read the error explanation. It just stops and out.
Now when I restarted my PC it says …”NTSC video from 1 to 30”
How can I setup video without these errors?
Where should I setup these before I go to Messenger Tools?
No trouble with the audio but after an erroneous capture driver setup the VT 3.03 sets a blank driver in AVI_IO and other capture programs unable to start them.
I am just unable to continue to the sound setting, but setting the WDM video, it shows an incompatibility with my camcorder/video signal but it lets me continue to audio.
Adis instructed me to reinstall VT3.03 which automatically restores the right drivers.
Finally: is there any way to setup video or should I blame the Matrox Marvel G400 and abandon the darn Meneger?
Just forget to say that I attached my Sony analog camcorder to the BOBs video input, than I changed the camcorder with an analog signal from the TV. No difference.
Is it a problem of the MSVCP60.DLL file? I have it in different places and different versions. In \Windows\System32\ the version 6.0.8972.0 The same for InterVideo (2 places) and others, BUT only in \Program\Shared Files\ Microsoft Shared\Web Folders is the version 6.0.8168.0 Is that the cause, or something else?
Help please somebody.
