  • Preview from Premiere timeline to TV screen?

I have Marvel400TV. Can I, making a film in Premiere, preview what I will get on TV screen from timeline? I pugged TVset to Marvel's connection box (VHS), my project's setting are MATROX MJPEG FULL 25FPS PAL (I installed those presets), and I expected to see its preview on TV screeen. But I don't. I pressed ALT - same result. Is that OK, or I can watch the picture on the screen of the plugged TV by any way?

Premiere certainly isn't as cooperative in this regard as MSPro is, that's for sure.

Try enabling DVDMax first. Now select File/Export/Movie and save the new *.avi.

When the rendering and export is finished you should get a preview window of the finished project. Play the project in this window and it *should* go out to the TV. Maybe.

It was very interesting if it wouldn't go out by the way you described.

Something I've been wondering about for quite some time. If I use G400 DH and a card like Hauppage Win TV to capture video with, say, PIC codec, then edit it with Ulead MS Pro. If I use the DVD Max function and G400's video output, will I be able to see video on a connected TV while scrubbing along the project timeline? This is functionality that I currently have with my Mystique 220 + RRS combo, and I am still looking for an *affordable* solution to replace it.

        Doc, any hints, please?

my problem with timeline of premiere is the bad quality of the output on DH DVD MAX, the video seems to loss frames. is there a way to optimize this? At this time i have to render all project before output to VHS tape.
