This is what I was afraid. OGL was broken in 5.39.

It's better for every user to try both options:

          5.39.019/3.04+
          5.91.008/3.04+

VT 3.04+ will work with every PD version
so if You got better results with 5.91.008 use it...

The old issue in PD5.39+ &VT 3.04+ reported earlier continue to appear in one case:
            -Capture 2K3-MJPEG video
-MSP7.01 Create new video with 2K3 MJPEG format,
-PD switches from PAL to NTSC. It happens only after rendering, not in preview or timeline scrubbing.

The difference to the earlier PD 5.39 is that it’s easy to reset to PAL in PD 5.39+.
Rendering with PICVideo is fine, without this PAL/NTSC issue.

My advice for MSP 6.5/7.0 is: Scrub the timeline, preview the video with 2K3, but do not create the file with the HW mjpeg (2K3) codec.

                    well done adis !!!
these upgrades works great under win2000. (no more crashes)

Only timer function for recording tv programs still not working.....
it just won's start at the given time, but the rest works great !!

This will give my G400 a new boost for my PC (AMD 2200+ with 768meg RAM)
If I had not found your site ,I think I was forced to switch back to Win ME or so.
But as I said no need for that !!!!

why does my monitor flicker at random times, it gets annoying, the whole screen kinda "warps a little" then comes back to the original position. This has never happened before until I upgrade to VT 3.04 with PD 5.39+ Using Win2K SP4 with G400TV Any ideas?

                          bytezboy

Try to use PowerDesk 5.91.008 or 5.82.018...
You don't need to reinstall VideoTools, just reinstall PowerDesk...

Or try to solve the problem with updating BIOS...

                            Adis

I finally took the plunge, backed up my system, installed PD5.91.008 and your VT3.04 (cancelling the reboot option after installation and then installing Win2K SP4 again to avoid instant BSOD at reboot - see http://forums.murc.ws/showthread.php...612#post429612).

                            Thanks very much

... after proper installing PD 5.39 with VT 3.04+ on a newly installed Windows XP Pro (with SP1) my avi files (captured with HW MJPEG codec) cannot be played back with HW support... it seems like the system doesn't see RRG - no interlacing and the CPU usage ~ 90-100%!... as if there is no Matrox HW codec in my system, though it exists...
