Ant: Question on posting numbers

I notice that user posting count never seems to get updated. How is this count set??

Do you mean the number of posts a user has made as can be seen on the left under your account name? If so that gets updated everytime you post, before I made this one I was on 820. The server logs each post you make and keeps tally.

The reason I asked was that yesterday all my posts were marked 103 and all Doc Ms were 968

Paul, just in case there's still any confusion, ALL your posts (old, new, whatever) will have the same total number of posts listed along with them. The individual posts do NOT have their own posting number associated with them. As you continue to post new messages, the total number of posts increases and this shows up no matter which one of your posts you're looking at.

This will be post #522 for me, but the number beside this post will increase to 523 or more each time I post in the future. Ok, I'll shut up now...
