  • Will planned upgrade give me full screen Huffy?

First, thanks to all forum users for all the great help. Thanks to this site and vcdhelp, I am been making playable VCDs for the last 3 months. I now capture with PicVideo full screen as I cannot make full screen Huffy captures with my current system. Will the following planned upgrade get me there or will I need more? I'm adding a 30 gig 7200 ATA 100 Maxtor to my 20 gig IBM boot as video capture. Have upgraded bios on my Abit BE-6 V.1 which allows replacement of PIII 500 with PIII 850. Will this get it done?

    I would say definitely.

I have a MSI 6163 Pro motherboard, PIII 850, and WDC 45GB 5400RPM video drive and have no problem doing 720x480 huffyuv captures.

My buffer count never goes past 2.

Thanks. Hopefully, I will do the upgrade this weekend as I just received my Promise controller card for the ATA 100 drive. May return for configuration advise if it falls short. Hoping for the best.
