    Interesting.....

    These new/cheap DV cards with analog features are going to give traditional devices some trouble IMHO, especially those set up with both analog and DV in/out like the DV.now.AV.

      From my read, it has analog output not analog input, making it redundant if you have a G400/450 dual head unless your system can't do DV in software.

      OTOH Tom's hardware is not very reliable IMHO. Gross typo saying 1.2 GB for an hour of DV instead of the ~12.5 it really is for example.

      If it has a hardware DV codec that does both analog in and out I'll order one since it was reviewed running on windows 2000.

        Really. Both he and Anand have to be taken with a grain of salt when they tred on video & RAID waters.

        Obviously I misread his review and corrected my post. In any case the pictures were often more revealing than the article.

          I'd like to hear some positive things about the FAST DV.now.AV running on windows 2000.

          I'm tempted to give it a try on videoguys 30 day satisfaction warrenty, but I hate to have to return stuff.
