Matrox rt x.100 with ?

Hi,

I currently have a g550, but am unable to play certain games. Does anyone know if the ati radeon 9600 pro will work as good as the g550 with the rtx100 for video capture and editing? If you wanted to both play games and edit, what card would you get?

ps also I can't change my audio sample rate from 48 k to 44.1 during analogue capture. Does anyoneknow why?

I have 2 soundcards. I use the turtle beach for capture. I use the aardvark for mutlitracking audio projects. Is there some setting that I can't find? In the capture, the only choice is 48k. Is this normal? Michael

Hi,
Unfortunatly, I don't think that matrox is keeping up in the game area. I have to think that ati is taking the lead. So I am thinking of the radeon 9600 xt as the best bang for the buck ( approx 150 ) . I have hope that matrox will rejoin the compitition soon. Michael
