It makes the program save every frame as a "keyframe". Due to a bug in the matrox YUY2 driver the YUY2 frames aren't "key frames" by default. This severely slows down programs like Premiere.

You only need to check this if you're saving as uncompressed YUY2, not if you're using HuffYuv. Not that it hurts, though...
