Hi guys,
What's the cheapest way to capture NTSC video in the UK?
Buy a VCR that outputs true NTSC 3.58?
Get a capture card that accepts NTSC 4.43/PAL-60? (RTX etc)
Get a signal convertor? (NTSC 3.58 to PAL, NTSC 4.43/PAL60?)
Or any other methods?
Note:
I don't have a VCR that does true NTSC 3.58 (else I wouldn't be asking ).
I don't have my G200 Marvel handy either (else I'd use that ).
I do have a Leadtek capture card for NTSC 3.58, and a Radeon AIW 9800. But obviously they don't like 4.43 NTSC/PAL-60. Either doesn't give the full frame, or ditches the colour.
I'd like to get the RTX100 since I'd like to dabble in more complex video stuff, but I need to be sure it'll take the 4.43 (don't need another kit that doesn't do what I need it to do *cough*ATI*cough*Leadtek*cough*)
